I'm Scared

In normal conversation, in political argument, in everyday life even…. people already wrapped their minds around the mentality of FUTURE is good….TECHnoloGy…is good…exposure is good…globalization is good… but as years passed…a decade passed from the year 2k….i’m becoming to realize something that sometimes I find hard to believe that is dwelling amongst us….

Every morning I have a habit of surfing the net for 10 minutes…just to catch up on the latest news, locally and internationally. Nowadays, reading the newspaper just becoming more and more uncomfortable… sometimes after reading..i feel sad… the world is just now how it used to be…. I pity to our younger generations… the world they live in now…is more like every man for themselves….

Takes today’s newspaper for example…murder…here and there…disrespect of humanity here and there…negative political agenda here and there…mcm xpyah baca paper pon xpe… too much negativity going around…. Bila baca paper..orang bunuh orang…. Igtkan pembunuh nyer seperti yang selalu digambarkan dalam cerita2…wayang2…. Unpleasant looking…scruffy looking…in such a mess so that we all stay away at first glance…. But now…. its not the case anymore…. Murders and reckless act done by the type of people u least expect…. facial expression, physical looks is very misleading…. Klau lah terselisih bahu kat mana2…. Xkn expect pon that person is a murder mastermind… yes..looks can be deceiving…but to what extend??? Isu bunuh, rape…sume…dah jd norm…mcm everyday happen…its nothing anymore…its definitely no longer taboo…..

Klau pike2 la kan…why skarang mende2 nie jadi….bukan nak kata zaman dulu xde…tp main berleluasa… mcm no limit..no boundary anymore…. Dlu budak2 lari ke sana sini…main ngn kawan2….keluar umah pagi…kang senja baru balik…mak x risau pon….tp skrang…hilang dr pndangan 5 minit pon…can result to pictures of lost young kids being pasted all over the country…all over the media regardless whether its main stream media..or not….

This brings back to my point earlier….its exposure….people are getting smarter by the day…it makes them think they have the absolute power..and invincible…but let’s look at the reality of it…nobody stays invincible right?? Hence the perumpamaan sepandai2 tupai melompat akhirnya jatuh ke tanah jua…when is it people going to learn that greed makes human do crazy things…. Is there a possibility that it will somehow change?? Or will it get worse…when I think about it more and more……the more I believe…..

It’s a scary scary world we live in……
