London Calling - Part 1

For years,

I told Dad, that I wanted to go back to UK. But dad has always been adamant about 'why go back to UK, when we have so many other places that we have not been yet'.

But, my heart always wanted to go back. Suddenly, dad said, he is going for a cycling trip to Lake Constance with his friends. Since there was no direct flight from KL, they have to go to London first.

Ooooo opportunity to go to London comes! So, we all bought the ticket to go with the family scheme offered by our local airlines.

little did we know, it was a standby ticket. and the fact that 5 of us is going on standby, then it would be quite impossible for us to all getting tickets on the same night.

Well... it wouldnt be a Zamri's Clan travel without D.R.A.M.A

Let this video, fill you in with the rest of the details.

What did I say?? Drama right???

30 September 2016. We arrived in London at about 4pm. Now, we need a place to stay for the night because we didnt prepare to arrive earlier one day.

So, we decided to stay in the same hotel as Farhan did, because he already booked a room for him and aida since their flight was earlier than ours.

We never experienced difficulties riding the tube to the city before. but somehow, on the first night that we are here in London, the underground tube was facing technical difficulties. we had to change routes and trains in order to get to Wembley Park.

We arrived at the Wembley Park Station, Finally!!. But it was as 1.6km walk from the station to the hotel. I never felt so tired in my entire life, walking that far in that kind of weather. It was super cold, I forgot how it feels like being in the cold since my last visit to UK was nearly 8 years ago.

Finally, we arrived at the Quality Hotel Wembley Park and went straight to bed.
