The Best Ever ( Part 1)
Hands Down!
It was the best holidays ever...
it was a 5 days trip and we did so many meaningful things while we were there..
Here's how it went....
25th November 2008
We started our journey to the airport around 5.45 am cuz our flight was at 7.20 am..
but there was so many people at the airport..it was understood cuz it was the school holidays..
The flight duration was 2 hrs and 30 minutes..
we were getting bored so we bought the on flight air-asia playing cards and we all played what we called "race"
to make it more interesting..
We met lovely people in Mabul Island..they were very nice and friendly..they are from various parts of the world..
some of them are German, Italian, Irish and Chinese..
we ended up exchanging emails and taking photos..hope that we keep in touch~
Natalie and Stevie
Arly and Sunny
We went back to the inn around 3.30 pm..we went back with few cuts and bruises, burned skin and soar muscles..
but...
it was all worth it~~

dad made a rule..saying that if the one who get's the least score and wins the most..there would be a reward of RM 50..
The RM 50 will be splitted to Rm 30 for Least point scorer and Rm 20 to the most winnings..
but the reward will only be given to the winner on the flight back home..
so we will play all through the days while we were in Sabah..
so..
we put our head to the game!
i..
was given the responsibility of keeping the score and the playing cards..
i have to bring it everywhere we go..
so that..
we would play whenever we have time to...
We arrived in Tawau around 10 o'clock and a car was waiting for us..
it was dad's staff..but since there are 6 of us..he can't fit in.
so dad bought him taxi coupon for him to go back..
At tawau..we went to Dad's office..but it wasn't what i expected cuz the office was a bungalow turned office kind of building..it was by the seaside..very beautiful views..
After we visited Dad's office..we started our journey to Sempoerna..it was a 2hrs drive..and we arrived there around 4 pm..
At Sempoerna.. we checked in to a hotel called Dragon inn..
it was a very unique hotel cuz it was like a chalet standing on the sea water..
very nicely built and i personally have never experienced it before..
That evening..we decided to go to my cousin's wife's home town..if i'm not mistaken..the name of the place is Baik..
but! there's a twist..
we can only reach there by boat..its somekind of water village..
i didnt have the chance to go there for the wedding since its during class time..
so we thought why not visit them now..
so we went there that evening..
before that..we went to book the boat to go to Sipadan Island..
but sadly, we needed permit to enter the island, and it takes days to get it approved,
so....
we settled for Mabul Island instead..
26th November 2008
We started very early that day..
we woke up at 6.30 am..but since Sabah's sun Rises early..at 6.30 am..looks like 8 am in KL..
we had breakfast at the inn itself and left for the boat to go to Mabul Island at 7.30 am..
it took us around 45 mins to get there..
it was very beautiful scenary, the water is crystal clear blue..it was nothing like i've ever seen before..
Mabul Island was famous for their minute underwater creature..
so all the fishes and crabs are very tiny and small..
when we were there, we rented the snorkeling gear and we snorkeled all day long...as it was a very hot day..it contributed to my burned skin..it was a fun activity..but there was a price to pay!
