Dad's 55th Birthday
Ayah turned 55 today,,,
Alhamdulillah...
Ayah didnt want a big celebration...because he said he just had one when he turned 50.. but we all disagree.. 55 years old is another milestone in life that we should celebrate right?
So..Ayah just had to give in...We invited some of ayah's close school friends, the new bicycle gang cum Leeds gang and some other family friends...
We had it in K*elantan D*elights, Su*bang J*aya which is becoming one of our favourite place to have function. The food is tasty, the space is not too big and not too small either with ample of parking space and its reasonably priced too. What more could you ask for eh?
So..this time around..its not too stressful because we just told dad what was going on. We learnt that its just no use of keeping it a secret and try to surprise ayah since he is going to find out anyway and try to make it harder for us.
The function started around 8.00-ish, and when we got there, the guests are also starting to arrive. There were some technical difficulties with computer, but thank Allah there was no montage presentation.
So the dinner kicked off with some speeches from uda and abang. Suddenly, Farhan invited me to come up the stage for a speech. I dont have anything prepared so i just mumbled on.with no point and no conclusions..clearly I suck at impromptu speeches..owh well..i suck at speeches in general...
Adik as usual, entertained us with his musical talent... and Uda sang karaoke.... suprised us with his rendition of Awie's Di penjara janji...
The rest of the night just went on with Ayah enjoying the company of his friends and loved ones...
